Hot Air Balloon Festival
A nearby community has an annual hot air balloon festival. The festival starts with them launching a bunch of hot air balloons, and then the party continues the rest of the evening. They have bands, people selling their hand/home made goods, and lots of different food. The balloons land someplace nearby and they bring them back to have a light show in the evening. The boys loved seeing all of the balloons! Every time they would blow one up, that became their "favorite." This was the first year we have gone, and it won't be the last! We had so much fun just hanging out as a family! The boys took about 1000 pictures...here's a few!

Swimming Lessons!
When I enrolled Isaac in swimming lessons, he told me very seriously "I already took swimming lessons and I KNOW how to swim." Yes, Isaac you did take lessons, but you were 18 months old and hated every minute of it. In my opinion, our boys don't have to become Olympic swimmers, but they do need to be able to stay alive if they fall into water.
He was extremely nervous at first. Isaac is one that always followsother people's directions, so it may have appeared that he was fine with it. But, I could tell he was scared.out.of.his.mind. He was always keeping his mouth open, swallowing gallons sips of water, which made him panic.
But by the end of his 2 week session, he was very comfortable! I was so proud of him for not giving up, despite not being extremely thrilled to go each day.

Herma Heart Center Picinc
Caleb has been invited to the Herma Heart Center picnic every year since he was 7 months old. This is the first year we were finally able to go! The highlight was the Brewers sausages! The boys thought it was soooo cool to see them in person!
Caleb's other highlight was seeing Mr Mike!
IZ's other favorite..decorating and eating a heart cookie!

Baseball!
The boys are in the full swing of baseball! Isaac is playing T-ball this year and LOVES it! He is such a good listener, always doing what his coach asks him to do. He likes to play first base. Of course none of the other kids throw remotely close to him, but after he chases it down he gets to throw it to the umpire and loves to do that! T-ball is a free-for-all and the kids (except for Isaac) all run to get the ball and push, knock each other down, grab the ball away, etc. Isaac is much more passive and waits until the other kids get bored towards the end and then gets the balls. So funny.
Caleb is still unsure about his baseball. It's coach pitch, but they underhand pitch softballs. He is used to overhand pitched baseballs, which is completely different. He'd much rather be playing in our yard than go to his games/practices. The age range is 6-8 year olds, so he is by far the smallest. (Although in my opinion, one of the best.) The kids are not serious about it at all, which is frustrating to him. Hopefully we can get him into a more competitive league next year. I have some videos of Caleb hitting, but my computer is being dumb at the moment. Here's a picture from picture day.
