Wish Party!

As I mentioned before, Caleb is NOT a fan of big parties and was so upset when we were planning his "One year of new life" party.  So I decided that he would be completely in charge of his Wish Party.  For those who don't know what a wish party is, it is when the Wish child finds out about their trip.  Things are kept under wraps until about a week before the trip.  Obviously Joel and I knew the dates and a few things planned, but didn't know the details, schedule, etc.

Caleb has never been to a movie theater, so it was suggested that he have a movie party.  One of the theaters nearby just opened a pizzeria inside, so our "Wish granters" set it up for him to have a pizza party, followed by a movie!  He only wanted to invite his friends Ayden and Troy, and was very serious about this.  He said it would be okay if their parents, Uncle Chuck and Auntie Rhi and Isaac's "twin" Mal could tag along too.  It was perfect.  His Wish granters had the table decorated with Hawaii themed balloons, decorations, leis and sunglasses and an awesome cake!  The food was great and the movie was cute (we saw Hotel Transylvania).  Best of all, we found out what we will be doing in Hawaii!!  We will be staying at the Sheraton on Waikiki Beach, swimming with dolphins, going on a real submarine ride, and attending a real Luau.  And of course finding shells on the beach!  That's all HE really cares about, but this will definitely be a trip of a lifetime!

It looks like Make A Wish has thought of everything, from a limo picking us up and taking us to the airport, to spending money for the boys.  Amazing.  I cannot wait to leave on Wednesday!  WEDNESDAY!!  Can you tell I am a bit excited?!
