Caleb's school year was the opposite of Isaac's. He does not.like.school. It was a very hard adjustment for him. But he made it through! He's a little smarty pants and despite missing 35 days of school (and about as many half days due to appointments), he is moving on to 2nd grade next year! We are SO proud of him!
I am hoping that next year is better for him. I've been told he has the "best" second grade teacher, so that's a good start! I think it will also help that he has a friend in our new neighborhood that he goes to school with and he's in baseball with a lot of his buddies from 1st grade as well.
