Caleb has always done everything on his own time. It all started when my water broke. He should have been born that morning and not survived, but he had other plans. After he was born, this continued in the NICU. The docs and nurses would tell us when things "typically" happen, but Caleb never followed anyone's textbook. From getting off the vent, drinking bottles, and going home to getting off oxygen, sitting, standing and walking he's definitely shown us that HE'S in charge. We'd start to lose hope that these things would happen, and then he'd prove us wrong.
Well, it looks like teething is not going to be any different. He has had his front 4 teeth for about 6 months now. And this week, he's getting 2 molars (top and bottom on the left side)! What happened to the other 8 teeth he should have gotten first?! Isn't this weird? I sure hope he gets the other ones (although they can give him a break for a while) Do they even make baby dentures? Anyway, at least there's a reason for his crankiness and sleepless nights.
Have a good week!
"Hey! Where's the water?"

Amelia seems to do EVERYTHING on her own schedule too. We are going to need professional help when they are teenagers!
