"Haba," as Caleb now calls himself, had his first swimming lesson on Saturday. He absolutely loved it. He's a little fish. He was so mad when his class was done. Even though his lips were blue from being cold, he wanted to stay in. I am glad he had such a good time. It will be really good for him once the baby is born. For some reason, most of my pictures didn't turn out, but here's one of him jumping in.
He also got his hair cut last week. It wasn't as bad as the last time, but he still cried. He always looks so much older after his mop is cut. He's sure growing up!
Before (as you can see, he wasn't thrilled to take a picture before we left for the salon) and after. I think he should be the new spokesman for Mr Bubbles, bubble bath. He carries the bottle around and says "bu-bus." I seriously think he'd live in the water if we'd let him.

Oh my goodness look at him!! Sooo adorable.
He's so cute!!
Question: did Caleb ever have that annoying habit of swallowing water? Hallie LOVES the water and pools, and would be great candidate for early swimming lessons, but she gulps water and then, because she aspirates on thin liquids, vomits. Every time. This usually doesn't bother her much but it kind of grosses out other parents (we're sortof kindof beyond real grossing out at this point) and has kept us out of public pools.
And if Caleb did gulp water, how did you stop him from doing this?
