He's become VERY sassy lately. An example: If I tell him to quit being sassy, he'll reply "No YOU quit being sassy." Or if I tell him if he hits me again he's going on time out, he'll reply "No YOU will go on time out!" But he's also very sensitive. His feelings are hurt very easily. He can get out his tears instantly, and he knows when to use them!
He has graduated to a big boy bed, but still wants his "cribby" every night. He will stay in his bed all night, unless he needs to get up to "go pee." Every night he tells us "Good night. Sleep good. Have fun. See you in the morning!" So stinking cute. We're still working on getting rid of his pacie. When I mention it, he always tells me "But I still a baby!"
He has started to be picky about what he's wearing and most of his clothes "don't fit quite right!" (This is completely NOT true since I just went through his drawers and took everything out that was too small). This leads to daily lay-on-the-floor-screaming tantrums and me forcing him into clothes so we can get going. He usually wants to wear Caleb's clothes, which is fine because he's pretty much wearing 3T anyway....
He longs to be three so he can go to preschool and four so he can play T-ball. He's getting really good at hitting the baseballs pitched to him and he still wears his glove on his hand most of the day, just to make sure he doesn't miss an opportunity to play some ball. He's constantly begging to play. He absolutely loves it when we go to play ball on the field by our house. He runs really fast around the bases and says "Did you see the dust?!"
It's amazing how much he knows and understands. His vocabulary/sentence structure is pretty amazing too. It's like he's been talking forever. He knows his colors, numbers up to 10 and most of his letters. He knows how to spell his name and write the letter "I." When you ask him what his last name is, he'll say "IZ Mikey Teisl!" And the other day when Caleb was saying that we live in Franklin, Isaac replied, "NO! We live in Bisconsin!" He has mastered my mom's Nintendo DS and likes to play his Leapster too, things that Caleb has no patience for.
He still idolizes his big brother. If he doesn't see him, he asks where he is and he constantly follows him around. Caleb is much better about letting him play, but C would much rather play alone. Isaac loves to be around other kids and is really becoming a little social butterfly. We were at the lake this weekend (more on that later), and he loved playing with his older cousins...especially kick ball.
He's growing up way too fast.
