Christmas Eve

This year, we decided to take the boys separately to get each other a present. I took Isaac and Joel took Caleb. They could pick out anything they wanted (within reason) for their brother. It was so much fun seeing Isaac trying to decide what to get Caleb. He had a hard time choosing just one thing. (And I am pretty sure he thought the gift was for himself and not Caleb.) He ended up choosing a forklift truck that lifts a box (or anything else you put on it) up and down, plays loud and annoying music, lights up, drives forward and backwards, and fits onto a Tonka trailer that Caleb already has. We let them open each other gifts on Christmas Eve morning. To say that Caleb was thrilled, is an understatement. He LOVED it!. He still plays with it everyday and he cannot get enough of watching the lift go up and down.

Joel said Caleb did not have any trouble deciding what to get IZ. He knew right away that he wanted to get him a Buzz Lightyear. He picked one that talks, lights up and has wings that flap. Pretty cool. Of course Isaac also LOVED his gift. He continues to be obsessed with anything that has to do with the Toy Story movies, so this gift was perfect. His new phrase is "I watch Buzz. Please Mama? Please?"

Here are some picture we took before we went to church on Christmas Eve.

Isaac had half the church laughing during the singing of Silent Night. Everyone had their candles lit and he was trying to blow them out. He wasn't blowing softly. He was blowing so hard that you could hear him over the music and his spit was flying everywhere. I think it would have been more funny to me if it wasn't my baby who had everyone laughing and watching him....
